RE BRAKE LININGS. X3893 X.1296

We attach hereto copy of a letter which we have received from America. The five samples of brake linings have now arrived and are in the Central Stores. Will you please obtain these and have then fitted to a Car and report as to their suitability or otherwise. You will notice that Mr. Caswell has used the Thermoid lining with good success.

We shall be glad if you will report as early as possible on the above linings as it is obvious that, if none of them are satisfactory, a long time will elapse for America to obtain Ferodo lining from England.

Will you please give me a copy of your report.
