Further to our communication of yesterday, we are now in a position to advise you further concerning your order for Pistons EW.2121. We find that we can use the same die that we have been using all along for your castings, but owing to the major changes which are introduced by the new web arrangement and skirt eccentricity, a new corebox will be necessary. To deal with this matter as cheaply and as expeditiously as possible, we propose to make a wooden box and in consequence our estimate for the delivery of the finished Pistons would be something like four weeks. We will proceed as expeditiously as possible and will use every endeavour to shorten this time. In the meantime, we hope to hear that we may expect you at our Slough Works on Friday, or alternatively at an early date, as there are one or two points in connection with this matter that we should like to discuss with you.
