Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your enquiry for small size Steel Flexible Ropes for carburetter and similar controls. This has been passed on to us by our Doncaster Office as we deal with this class of material from the Charlton address shewn at the head of this letter.

In the comparatively small sizes to which you refer we generally supply, for this class of work, a Strand consisting of either 7 or 19 wires and are requesting our Works to post you direct representative samples. These will give you some idea of the construction and quality we would suggest, although variations of the size could be made, if necessary.

The smallest of the three samples consist of 7 wires each .012", giving an overall diameter of .036" and the price for this is 10/-d per 1,000 feet.

By increasing the size of the individual Wires we could supply similar Strand with an overall diameter of .045" and the price for this is 11/-d per 1,000 feet.

CONT'D.......
