(sheet 2) E/HDY.{William Hardy}1/HP.10.3.36. We show the ball jointed outer support for the pedal shaft as on N.Sch.4350, which can also be used on the 25-30 in due course. A downward stop for the clutch pedal should be provided for the Bentley as well as the 25-30, so there will be two separate stops on the casing. We show forks for the compression rod made from square bar. This seems the cheapest way to make them but we prefer the forged fork shown by a separate view, as it is lighter and is better looking. The triangular stiffener for the frame where the diagonal stay attaches should be fitted to the first cars as it can be removed readily to determine whether it is necessary. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
