D.W.S. Hydraulic Jacking System for Phantom 3.

The development of the D.W.S. jacking system has proceeded to an extent that it seems possible to have a set running on the next Phantom 3 car for France.

If it passes this test satisfactorily we should incorporate the system on the first 200 chassis, for which the material is now being instructed.

In view of this it seems advisable not to order up material for sections which we now know will be definitely affected by the fitting of the jacks.

The parts which we know will be affected by the fitting of the engine driven hydraulic pump are the fan hub and spindle, the wheelcase and the bottom fan pulley. None of these parts are very long distance ones and we should therefore recommend that they are held up.
