Bentley / Mr Barrington} At your suggestion I wrote a note to Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Summers, the chief object of which was to warn him about the brakes after the car has been washed. We attach herewith a copy of his reply. I intend to reply and suggest to him that at some later date he may like to bring the car over to Derby. We shall tell him that we think he ought to get a considerable amount more running out of the car before he does this. The criticisms raised by Mr. Summers are all points which we know of. We know this customer to be extremely knowledgeable on cars and a very keen critic. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Attached: letter dated 29.1.34. | ||
