Series, subject, of course, to all concerned making certain that we shall hold up any improvements that may be under consideration by the Experimental Department and Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}'s Department. We are not anxious to stop the progress of the work, but it is essential that we do not order up material on which there are likely to be alterations, and thereby create scrap. Will Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} please let me have a list of all the parts which are held in abeyance for the time being? H.S. Series. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} can release and Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} can order 200 sets of bar, billets, etc. for this series, that is to say, no pressings, castings, forgings or finished parts must be ordered for the time being.
