THE BROOKLANDS AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB, BROOKLANDS MOTOR COURSE, WEYBRIDGE, SURREY. TELEPHONE: WEYBRIDGE 1220 (10 LINES). TELEGRAMS: "BARKLUB, WEYBRIDGE." PARTICULARS OF MEMBERSHIP. The annual subscription is Five Guineas, and there is an Entrance Fee for new members of Five Guineas. If preferred, a new member can join at Six Guineas a year without entrance fee. The Club year commences on 1st January and all subscriptions expire on the 31st December. The liability of a member is strictly limited to the amount of his or her Entrance Fee (if any) and Annual Subscription or other sums payable by him or her under the Rules. Candidates for membership must be proposed and seconded by Members, who must sign the Proposal Form. A Proposal Form is enclosed herewith. Each Member, on paying his or her annual subscription, receives a Badge for himself or herself, and two Brooches for Lady Guests, or Children under 14. The Member's Badge entitles the holder to the following privileges during the year of issue, whilst the Ladies' Brooches relate only to (b), but a Member may surrender one of his Ladies' Brooches and obtain a special one on payment of one guinea per year, which will entitle the holder to the additional privileges of taking in a car free of charge on all days and the use of the Club House. These special Brooches can only be issued to the wife, sister, daughter or close relation of a Member, and then only when the proposed holder is elected by the Committee. (a) To take a car or motor cycle upon the Track except on Race Days, or when it is being used for special tests or trials. This privilege cannot be claimed when the use of the Track is for record or publicity purposes. Members' chauffeurs in uniform are admitted free of charge on their masters' cars. (b) Free admission to the Members' Enclosure, Paddock and Public Enclosure at all Race Meetings. (c) The use of the Club premises in the Paddock. (d) To introduce visitors to any of the Club meetings by the issue of vouchers to any number of ladies or gentlemen. These vouchers, upon payment of 10s. a day for each lady, 15s. for each gentleman and 5s. a day for a child, will entitle the holders to exchange them at the Club offices in the Paddock prior to the day of the Meeting or at the Members' Entrance Gate of the Course on the day for Members' Day Passes, admitting the wearers on the day specified to all Enclosures. Holders of Members' Day Passes desiring to take any car or other vehicle into the grounds will be charged the usual rates. (e) To receive written notice prior to the holding of any meeting of the Club, giving the time of commencement of the meeting. (f) Members may bring in one guest on non-race days without payment. JUNIOR ASSOCIATES. The sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, nephews or nieces of members of the B.A.R.C. may be elected Junior Associates when between the ages of 14 and 18 years. They will be entitled to one special badge, which will give them free admission on all Race days to all enclosures. They can also use the Club House on those and other days. The Subscription for Junior Associates is Three Guineas. USE OF TRACK BY NON-MEMBERS. Those who are not members of the Brooklands Automobile Racing Club can test their cars on payment of 10s. per car or 5s. per motor cycle per day, the Track being available for such tests when no racing or record breaking is in progress.
