(11) 40/50 Output.

Present output - We had got to despatch 109 chassis from last Saturday, 16/9/22 to Oct. 31st.1922. We were, last Saturday, 19 behind on our promise, but we are going to make 20 per week for the rest of the term to complete our promise to Sales.

It was pointed out that the hours on testing gear boxes and back axles would very soon be considerably curtailed.

(12) Finish of Post-war cars.

Shot blasting. - One cwt. of material ought to be delivered today, a sample will be treated with this and sent to Sales.

Polish on Steering wheels. - Being polished in future.

(13) Magneto on Goshawk for export.

It was agreed that the battery ignition is standard and that if a magneto is fitted, it is an extra and will have to be paid for.

(14) Springs for abroad.

It was agreed that BJ. should write R.{Sir Henry Royce} and ask if 10% heavier springs may be used in those countries where it is considered advantageous.

(15) Spring Shackles.

BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} is sending a report to Sales on how much scrap it would necessitate if we adopted Goshawk type bushes for "R" series.

(16) Grinding gears.

It was agreed that all gears for 40/50 and Goshawk, and Repairs when necessary, should be ground in future, as it is better and cheaper.

(17) Position of Goshawks at present time.

It was stated that there are 17 on test at present time and 3 delivered to London, not quite completed.

It was agreed that all 20 chassis should go to London for bodies to be fitted, and then, as many as necessary come back to W. for latest improvements to be fitted.

There is raw material for about 250 Goshawks in Works and about 95% of the tools are finished.
