Dear Sirs,

You will recollect that we submitted to you some time ago a set of our Model A20. aero plugs, on which you reported that they caused pre-ignition. We have since developed a new type of aero plug which will stand considerably more heat than the A20.

We are extremely desirous of putting these plugs through a preliminary test on your aero engines with a view to submitting them to a type test at some future date, and we should be very much obliged if you could arrange to have a set of these plugs tested. We are arranging to send you under separate cover a set of two dozen of these A28. model aero plugs, in anticipation of your being able to arrange for the above test to be made, and we await your report on the results of this test with interest.

Yours faithfully,
LODGE PLUGS LIMITED
(sgd) Bernard Hopps.
