Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c.to Ms. X4425 5 o 13/9/26 Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}6/NJ13.9.26. Lodge Plugs for "Phantom" Chassis. Referring to By16/H3.9.26, Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}11/NJ6.9.26, EWT/HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}12/T7.9.26 and By5/H8.9.26. I now attach hereto copy of letter from Lodge Plugs Ltd. dated 10th inst. explaining that as they have found Model C.150 plug to be so satisfactory, they have standardised it as their standard Steatite detachable plug and are not now making any other standard size Steatite insulated plug; therefore it has become unnecessary from their point of view to continue adding the number "150" to the type designation "C". I hope this explanation will be found satisfactory and that you will not consider it necessary to insist upon C.150 plugs already delivered to us being returned to the Lodge Co. to have the figures "150" added.
