STARTING AND SLOW RUNNING DEVICE - 40/50 CHASSIS: Referring to your memo. E2/GS.6.21. To the best of knowledge, the throttle on 6. EX Car is standard. When you say "Why have we blocked up the holes in the diaphragm of the throttle" - are you alluding to the brass spinning which is soldered in the throttle? If so, *this spinning has been standard on the cars since 1913. We believe it was originated by Mr. Royce at Le-Canadel. The aluminium plug which is fixed to the cover for the throttle was put back in order to fill up the space at the back of the throttle and to avoid any explosions taking place. | ||
