BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} MATERIAL.

In regard to the question of material for Bentley V.{VIENNA} as a result of a further Conference on the subject with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} it has been decided that for the moment we will only urge 50 sets of material. This to be supplied for 50 cars required before Olympia Show.

No further instructions should be issued at the moment for the 250 sets, the object of this being to give the Experimental Department more time to clean up their troubles on the gearbox.

The date at which production is to start has been indicated in a memo from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} as early in 1940, which means that instructions must be cleared for material by a date six months prior to that time. In the meantime the Tool Department should go ahead producing all tools for the parts which so far have been released.
