Re Petrol Tank Filler on Side of Body. We have issued to B.I. a modification incorporating a sheath for holding the gun in the mouth of the filler. See copy of memo. E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/MN. 26.9.35. Although we have had to modify the filler casting to get this in, we suggest that you can easily fit it to the one you have already made, in a temporary manner, which will prove satisfactory. We have reinstated, you will notice, the annularvent pipe which also can be slipped up the filler already made. Although we have been requested to slightly modify the filler attachment to the tank as shown on LeC 4520, we suggest this need not be incorporated on the tank you are building if time will not permit. Herewith we enclose a pencil sketch of the petrol tank guard which we are doing for this thin tank, which we suggest you will be able to get on without waiting for the drawing. E.V. | ||
