To Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} y4118 Hsl/LG22.10.28. CHASSIS GCK-54 - MRS. GLOAG. 45100 We have investigated the knock complained of on this car and have come to the conclusion that it would not be improved by any alteration in the crankshaft. We consider the knock is a dynamo rattle emanating from engine gears. This is confirmed by a report from the driver of which you have sent us a copy. We are returning the car to you because we consider you are much more competent to deal with engine gears than we are. We have done nothing as regards the other items which were complained of on this car. We should be glad of an opportunity of trying this car again after you have attended to the engine gears. We attach a copy of our Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /GWH {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 1/LG22.10.28. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
