Chassis GCK-54. Mrs. Gloag.

The following is copy of a further letter which we have received from this Owner's driver :-

"Yours to hand this morning, and I have now arranged insurance to cover your car, value £1400. Also, I note you have advised Derby re squeaking road springs.

I would like you to notify them further re Engine knock in Mrs.Gloag's car, and which I think is from timing gears, and is very noticeable when engine is finely throttled down after a run. I mention this point as the car is in for slipper drive correction and as this does not operate at this period I speak of which is while the car is stationary and running slowly after a long run. I would be pleased if you will forward this information to Derby, as I have now had the opportunity of trying your car under the same conditions and there is not any sign of knock complained of in above car. I know they, of course, will go into the matter thoroughly, but am thinking it might help them for me to point this out for location of the fault.

We are very pleased with your car, and Mrs. Gloag asks me again to thank you for the use of it."

Will you please look into the further point mentioned whilst the car is with you ?
