Made governor unit of ride control function correctly, increased the poundage of the front dampers to 140 lbs. and the rear to 130 lbs. initial load. Altered the lean of pivots from 5° to 4°. Lapped in position the steering nut and worm with Whitmore's "O" compound, then filled steering box with fresh oil to overcome "tackyness". Increased the strength of the front springs by fitting an extra leaf. 38. Failure of rear shock absorber connection. March Quarter. C.C. C.P. Previous Quarter. C.C. 2 C.P. Six months. 2 B.66.EF - 6000 Kms. Fitted a new connecting tube to the n/s rear damper; original tube became detached and was lost. B.101.EJ - 2598 Kms.
