BUMPER FIXINGS. 20/25 HP.
SECOND PART OF 'T' SERIES.
We have already sent to you a scheme for the attachment of the front bumper --- N.Sch.3277.
We now send you N.Sch.3280. shewing the attachment of the rear bumper.
As R.{Sir Henry Royce} insists that bolts be used instead of studs we have been forced to put the heads (and not the nuts) in the cap. Inorder to bring the design of the front fixing in line with the back we have changed the bolts round likewise.
If you have already got too far with N.Sch.3277 to permit of this alteration being introduced, we suggest that you keep the bolts of the front fixing as now on N.Sch.3277 and that you use the cap of N.Sch.3277 on the rear, allowing the head of the bolt to be in the counterbore.
We believe, however, that the cap of N.Sch.3280 has the advantage that it gives a simpler surface for painting and assists polishing after spraying, and so we would prefer it.
