to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 3-30 Y8600 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/23.8.27. 24-8-27 RE PHANTOM REAR WHEEL & LUGGAGE CARRIER. We thank you for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG19.8.27. re the above. We wish you to test as soon as possible our latest suggestion given on N.Sch.2241. for the fixing of the central plate. We thank you for the enclosed suggestion which no doubt could be made to do the job quite well. We had thought of this ourselves but it has so far been considered too complicated. We see no technical reason why our present scheme cannot be made to work when the proportions are correct. The side carrier has similar mechanics and that has been made to work.
