[Text is inverted on original document] AH/RT.4082. 8th. October, 1924. We thank you for your letter of the 1st inst. from which we are very sorry to learn that you are still having trouble with your Rolls-Royce car. We are very glad to learn that you will shortly be able to visit our Inspection Department to enable us to make it satisfactory. We should like at the earliest convenient moment to go thoroughly into the defects about which you complain. There should be no difficulty in tracing and curing this, and after doing so, we trust that you will tell us that the cause has been entirely removed. We have provided a special system to enable our agents to make claims where they are unable to do this themselves, a copy of which we enclose. With regard to the advertising of the cooling water, we beg to advise you that this matter is at present the subject of very extensive experiments, from which process will evolve results which will overcome any complaint. We are in a position at the moment to be able to advise you that these experiments will relieve the defect, but perhaps when you are in London we shall be able to do more about this detail. (.O.T.P.) [End of inverted text] [Start of right-side up text] In any case, you may rest assured that we shall do everything in our power to ensure your satisfaction with the car, and to overcome the unfortunate impression you have received of it lately. We are, Sir, HA-2S/JH.gissard Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED. [Stamp: Inspection Department.] [Red circular stamp on left: RECEIVED OCT 7 1924] | ||
