261. W/K.{Mr Kilner} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} c. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}18/MH.{M. Huckerby}31.10.38. RE B.119.HM.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} Job No.1061. You have recently returned to W. a 10" clutch driven plate from above car, marked for refacing. So far as can be seen from a visual examination the facings appear practically as new, and we would be interested to know what trouble you had experienced with it which caused its removal, and if fitting a new plate alone overcame the trouble. Was there any evidence of oil on the facings ?, and what was the mileage run by this plate ? We ask this for our own information. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} | ||
