REGULATOR FOR BENSPORT x6044 CHASSIS. The specification of the winding quantities of the 40/50 dynamo for the above chassis is as follows:- No. of field turns per pole - 234. Wire used - 20 SWG. D.C.C. Superfine. Brush angle - 14º. Field resistance on regulator unit 15 ohms approx. made up with 26 SWG. Eureka (bare) wire. No. of armature conductors per slot - 16. Wire used - 16 S.W.G. D.C.C. Superfine. The specification to which the C.A.V. regulators should be ordered is as follows:- Open circuit operating voltage (cold) 15 to 15.5 volts.
