X6110 BY/RD. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.10/KT.31.10.32. WAXED PAPERS. We thank you for the comparative figures given in your BY/RD.2/W.31.10.32. Our tests were taken between Standard E.R.A. electrodes at a temp. of approx. 180°C. The temperature does not influence the breakdown characteristic appreciably until about 400°C. We are afraid that we do not possess much confidence in Messrs Symons figures as from what we gathered from MR. Harold Symons some time ago their apparatus is rather crude and unreliable.
