Dear Sirs,

This is to confirm our telephone conversation this afternoon when I requested you to arrange for a trial run for Mr. Robotham in the 1939 Vauxhall 10-HP. which you spoke about the other day.

I am enclosing petrol coupons to the value of seven units to cover the journey, and should we not purchase the car we shall be prepared to pay you three guineas to cover the man's time and expenses, etc.
