To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} 206 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}1/AP.11.11.36. BENTLEY ALUMINIUM BRAKE DRUMS. Referring to the drums instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}12/JH. 12.10.36. in which we call for 3 sets to be fitted to our own cars. Will you please build up one pair of rear drums with Lepaz liners instead of Millenite liners. The liners' size and shrink fit is to be standard i.e. as detailed in GB.2404. They are to be cut from a pair of Lepaz drums now in the Stores. When completed we will put these drums and the front drums with Brimal liners together on one car - probably 1.B.lV. In view of the scoring of the Millenite liners on 6.B.lV. during it's 15,000 miles test, we are having to experiment with new types. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F.
