Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X7330. X7070 E3/M7.6.27. X.8330 x X7070 X.7330 x 8070 INDUCTION PIPES FOR REVISED PHANTOM. In connection with the work on the revised aluminium Phantom, R.{Sir Henry Royce} would like you to try out certain arrangements of induction pipe manifolds, with a view to anticipating experimentally what benefits are likely to be secured or otherwise by the arrangement of ports proposed for the revised Phantom. In this design six separate inlet ports are being brought out on the steering side of the engine. Sketches are attached shewing the proposed forms of manifolds. Instructed production of these E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} pipes to our drgs. 27.8.27. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL. | ||
