To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X7080 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/LG31.3.27. CARBURETTER JETS - E.75287/8. 12-EX. These jets were fitted to the carburetter on the road test does not give any detrimental results; good slow running has been maintained and the setting being approx. standard. We have also had the jets tested on the bed to satisfy ourselves that the distribution was in no way altered by the four flutes. The report verifies no alteration to distribution. We believe the works are anxious to obtain these results so that they can start to make these jets in order to cut down scrap. that is caused in the manufacture of the present type of jets.
