JAPAN 3 - LEFT-HAND CHASSIS.

Lec.2863 legislates for the extra ignition but now that we have your views on the P.2. chassis we assume that the magneto can be washed out on Japan 3. and double battery ignition substituted when two sparking plugs per cylinder are required.

This removes some of the difficulties in connection with the left-hand scheme assuming that we can find a satisfactory method of dealing with two battery ignitions.

We are looking into this particular point, and also the question of the timing gears at the rear.
