We have dismantled the engine of this car and the following is our report:

Main bearings whitemetal:- There is a fair amount of metal missing from the intermediate & central bearings. The bearings are also in a cracked condition.

BIG END BEARINGS WHITEMETAL :- Metal has broken away from the upper halves and they are also in a cracked condition.

We are fitting new main and big end bearings.
