S/W. To Hives. X.1109. CWB2/DEB2-9-1924. I had occasion to visit the British Celanese Co. the other day whose works, as you know, are at Sponden, and whilst there found they were moulding their material, for electrical purposes into various forms. They claim that this material which they call CELASTINE possesses greater physical strength, greater dielectric strength than Ebonite, Bakelite, and other similar products, while it is absolutely non-hydroscopic. The material and its properties is probably known to you, but in case it should not be, I am just sending this note, together with the enclosed sample, as it may be of decided interest in connection with the electrical and other fittings of our Car.
