CHASSIS S/C UNIT. Running time for fortnight ending 22nd May 1937 hrs. Fitting " " " " " hrs. WORK TO BE DONE. TIME. Power checks on Alum head with 1.850" valve as under (1) Variation of choke diam. (2) Variation of valve timing. 2 days. SHOP. Fit inclined valve head and block. Running in for new parts. Power check and detonation tests. 3 days. SPARES. (1) Tachometer drive to SCT.53 (2) Re-conditioned alum. T.H. crankcase. Valve gear rig. An engine unit E.14 has been allocated for this job, and should be built up complete, less only crankshaft, pistons and con rods.
