To: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Fred Hallam. TAS.{T. Allan Swinden} 408 B.V. Carburation. Confirming the discussion held in my office on Wednesday morning. If the four road tests agreed on fail to provide sufficient information to make the B.V. induction system and carburetters acceptable to the customer, then we shall have no alternative but to revert to B.II carburetters and the large intake for the few cars that have been sold. We have to establish as soon as possible however, the variation which can take place in carburetters and needles made on the same drawing. We have also to establish on the test bed a needle that will give us results comparable with B.II. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
