Dear Skinner,

Thanks for your letter of the 11th instant.

If the distortion of the throttle body which we have sent you is what must be expected from zinc base castings, then we can say definitely that these are ruled out for our products.

We have had so much trouble with the new carburetters which we were proposing to standardise on the Bentley V that, at the moment, I am contemplating reverting to the original type.

Presumably, if an order for a bigger quantity was placed, the price would be reduced.
