re 25 HP. Exhaust System.

The Test Dept. is complaining about the rattling of the stay on the intermediate pipe where it is attached to the clutch casing.

We suggest that the fixing should be tightened up solid, and then if any slackness develops the Thackeray washer should take care of this.

We send you herewith a sketch of this - LeC.4401 - showing our proposal. This does not involve any scrap but the ferrule piece has to be cut back.
