We have noticed on the Quarterly Complaint sheets that trouble is still being experienced with rattling exhaust systems on the above cars.

From information obtained from your department it appears that most of these rattles are coming from the intermediate pipe stay where it is bolted to the clutch casing.

This is an old complaint and fully covered by LeC.4401 issued on 7.3.35.

Will you please see that a Depot Sheet is issued to all concerned covering this job. Attached copy of original memo. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.7.3.35.
