X.2894 Extract from Mr. Minchin's letter of 15th May 1928. With regard to the tungsten points, these have done about 18,000 to 20,000 miles and they have been touched up several times as they caused misfiring on more than one occasion. When I first had the car I had a lot of trouble with the points which to a large extent disappeared, but whether this was due to the fitting of these special points or not or the modifications that you made, I do not know. | ||
