To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x206 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}11/KW.19.9.34. Bentley Brakes. Now that we are getting better results with direct braking to all wheels on 3-B-IV we wish to eliminate a further piece of sponge from the mechanism. We have discovered that the steel shoes deflect as much as .009 under load. The attached Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1518 shows a stiffer shoe. Will you please put in hand a set, both front and rear, which we should like on 5-B-IV. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
