that it is the Magneto which is at fault, and secondly, that the man will never be satisfied to run on both ignitions; in such cases the customer must be told we are prepared to change his Magneto to the E.O.6 free of charge only at the Works, or one of our Depots. If the customer insists that he will not bring his car to either our Works or one of the Depots, then this change can only be made if the customer agrees to pay our man's travelling time and expenses, - the supplying and fitting of the Magneto will be done free of charge to customer.

It should be pointed out to everybody concerned, that each of the Magnetos of E.6 type condemned by us will be examined by Norths, so very great care should be exercised before condemning any of the present type of Magneto.

Re Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}26/BM30.12.21 and Whr{Mr Wheeler}13/G12.12.21 re complaints of Magnetos of E.6 type.

The Committee are of the opinion that as soon as CJ. will give his sanction to the preceding parts of this Minute, a small stock of E.O.6 type Magnetos and fittings should be sent to our foreign depots, with the above instructions to be very sparing on issuing of same.

(2) Re WATFORD SPEEDOMETERS. Ref. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}26/BM30.12.21.

We are not satisfied with the Elliott but up to now we have thought they were better than the Watford. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will further investigate this matter.

RE REAR SPRINGS ON 40/50. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}4/NJ2.1.22 to R.{Sir Henry Royce}

Works agreed that they would make every effort to get rid of the 220 thick leaf springs which are on hand, and at the end of two months the Committee will review the situation and then decide whether remainder can be made use of.

(4) PRIMING TAP. Re CJ/Py25/H1.11.21 to R.{Sir Henry Royce}

With the Pilot jet coming in the near future, and the Priming tap being put on the dashboard, we hope that this trouble will not arise in future.
