Dear Colonel Fell,

I was left a verbal message by Colonel Pile before he went on leave a few days ago to the effect that I was to let you know the frequency bands of our light tank wireless sets. The information is as follows:-

No.1 Set, modified. Frequency band 5080-3130 Kilocycles.
This is the set now in service and it is likely to remain in use for the next two or more years.

A new set with a frequency band of 5000-1875 kilocycles is under design but it is not expected to reach the light tanks for another two years.

I am mentioning the new set in case it is possible for your screening to be made suitable for either set without difficulty or extra expense being involved. If this is not the case, your screening must of course be designed for the No.1. Set, modified.

I hope this information is what you require.

Yours sincerely,
(Signed) R.{Sir Henry Royce} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} STUDDERT.
