Re: Bentley III - 1.B.5.

As stated in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}12/G.6.11.37, it is proposed to fit a heater and wireless set to the above car.

It will be necessary to supply a scheme for heater connections to the engine, and a fixing for the heater on the dash.

We need a print of the latter scheme to send to the Coachbuilders.

Will Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} please order a Motorola wireless set of the approved type to be supplied to "W", and send to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} the control head for despatch to Park Wards for fitting. A scheme of the set in position is needed for supplying to the coachbuilders to see that it clears the instruments.

As the steering column is 11.000" from the centre of the car as against 9.250, it would appear that the proposed new arrangement of instruments with a central speedometer will possibly not be usable. We suggest that the instrument board layout needs design investigation.
