With reference to the new bracket for carrying the front end of the rear springs, we send you drawing F.4938 shewing the arrangement of the scheme we are putting through for experiment in accordance with your drawing no. leC102 We have slightly increased the vertical centres in order to absolutely clear the bolt heads on the third cross member, and we have arranged the bracket to take the existing stud-method of holding on the shackle, which we hope is in accordance with your wishes. This experiment is being pressed on with all speed.
