(On the engine for 3-S-I, the same crankshaft pilot bearing from No.5 unit should be used again).

Outstanding parts to specification for No.10 unit and its modifications.

CHASSIS.

(1) Rear Axle. Pinion bearing with lubrication grooves. Taper N.Sch.4654. Half shaft seals as on SpectreCodename for Phantom III 2-S-I. (On 3-S-I rebuild the same axle half shafts should be used as ran the last 10,000 miles in France).
(2) Front Brakes. Ferodo S.5805 material.
(3) Rear Brakes. Ferodo S.5805 material. Bell crank lever bushes, N.Sch.4653.
(4) Hand Brake. 60:1 ratio, N.Sch.4639.
(5) Pedals. Stiffened brake pedal stem 3/8" longer, to be instructed by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
(6) Head lamp bracket, LeC.4705.
(7) Rear bumper fixing, LeC.4737.
(8) New shape bumper bars front and rear, to enable number plate to stand in 2".
(9) New steering wheel and controls.
(10) Side spare wheel carriers, LeC.4445.
(11) 2 cars to have petrol filter fitted to 2nd cross member, to LeC.4721. 1 car with filter at side of frame, including tap on suction side, LeC.4648.
(12) 33-gallon petrol tank to LeC.4647, incorporating LeC.4715.
(13) Fuel pumps, electrical units, to be as per new type Bentley, i.e., non-inductively wound coils, German material diaphragms, Bakelite valves, deletion of valve springs.
