For the attention of Mr. Cooper.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter and Specification PP.20/2 for the R.R. H.P. petrol pump with the Cast Iron magnet units. We have assembled this pump and find it satisfactory. We have notified our Order Office to this effect and hope you will be able to proceed with production.

With regard to the Neoprene diaphragms, we note that now 3 layers of Neoprene are fitted to the H.P. pump you are no longer fitting a fibre packing between the armature and the fabric. We should like to know why this is so.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
