Dear Sirs,
Experimental Dept.
Replying to your letter of the 22nd we thank you for your confirmation that the new Pump, our number PP. 20/-L is correct and we will therefore proceed immediately with the 200 units.
Regarding your last query, it is unnecessary on this particular pump to fit fibre packing between the armature and the fabric as a suitable provision has already been made in order to eliminate this distance piece - that is the increase in the depth of the roller trade in the coil housing.
Yours faithfully,
for THE S. U. CARBUETTER CO.LTD.,
B. Cooper
