X4333 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. EFC8/T30.10.23 X.4333 - GOSHAWK BRUSH & COMMUTATOR SYSTEM. Herewith we hand you the armature from dynamo No.288, this being the machine in use for continuous runs of brush gear tests. Having now completed with this machine comparative tests of brushes of different materials with unbevelled tops and with commutator not specially undercut, we are now desire to run a similar test with the commutator specially undercut and using in the first instance standard Z brushes bevelled. Therefore will you kindly arrange to have this commutator undercut by the special process as soon as possible. You will also notice that the binding string round the commutator connections needs rewinding. E.F.C. EFC. [Handwritten Note] E.F.C. You have passed this enquiry to Mr Toone J.R.C. 31/X/23 | ||
