COPY. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION - INDIA 3. We think we have now sent you all necessary instructions for the centralised chassis lubrication on this car. The following point we think should be dealt with in Derby: (1) WATER PUMP. - to be dealt with the same way as on Phantom. We may send you some further instructions about the following points : (2) FRONT ENGINE SUSPENSION BEARING BUSH - we expect we shall deal with this by trying some self lubricating material. (3) SERVO. - we doubt whether it is desirable to put this into the central system in the case of the 20 HP., as it can be lubricated at the same time as the clutch is lubricated.
