Customer's No.: X4617S Re tests on SY Battery This battery had completed 9012 miles when taken off 11EX 9 was reported in WB {Mr Brazier / Mr Bell} 85 11-5-26. The battery was emptied of electrolyte & filled with distilled water. & charged at half normal rate until no further rise in density than 1140 was obtained, this showing that little or no sulphate had come from the plates. It was then emptied & refilled with acid & charged until all the plates were gassing fully. Following this a Low Rate Discharge was taken through an invariable external resistance of 1.80Ω & 58 ampere hours were realised. The Fuller cell had less capacity than the others & showed positive Signed: (cont'd ?) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
