-4- We are of course interested in the effect of stroke bore ratio on efficiency, but as at present the method of Taxation largely dictates this feature, for the moment we consider that it is of secondary importance. With regard to supercharging, the major difficulties so far appear to be concerned with the full scale engine, and until we can settle what supercharger and hot spot arrangement is necessary for slow running on the road, single cylinder work is perhaps a little previous.
