VALVE SPRINGS. X296 X2983
Mr. Elliott's investigation is excellent and should be carried on as long as it shews progress towards solving the mysterious difference between different springs. Apparently we have a few items towards perfection in -
(1) taper spring (our old practice.)
(2) Open ended springs.
(3) Low maximum with larger stress range.
} All these are very economical for space and very practical
