"We have run the Bijur dynamo off the test engine, one cannot hear any noise from the regulator, of course any very slight noise would not be heard for the engine noise. The contacts for the vibrator are made of platinum. "I have never seen or tested a Bosch dynamo. "The Scott regulator vibrates slightly when it first comes in and at high speeds but it settles down and remains still, it is noiseless except for a slight click when it comes in. (sgd) E.H." p.
